GRANDVILLEN – CANCELLATION POLICY
In case of cancellations, GrandVillen will charge the customer a certain percentage of the total service fees stated in the travel agreement to cover measures and expenses related to the travel. These amounts are determined as follows:
Cancellation Terms
a. The 20% or 35% deposit collected by us for the villa reservation is strictly non-refundable.
b. If the villa reservation is canceled up to 30 days before the villa check-in date, 35% of the villa rental fee must be paid.
c. If the villa reservation is canceled within 29 days of the villa check-in date, 100% of the villa rental fee will be charged.
d. If GrandVillen cancels the reservation for any reason, we will notify you as soon as possible. If there is another villa with the same features available in our portfolio for the same period, it will be offered to the guest. In cases of force majeure (earthquake, flood, disaster, etc.), the full payment will be refunded to the guest.
e. No refund will be given if the guest does not show up for the reserved villa or leaves early.
f. Certain villas in our portfolio may have a special cancellation policy, which will be clearly specified in the villa information section.
g. Refund requests must be submitted via email or registered mail, and will be valid from the moment they reach us.
h. If the remaining payment after the deposit is not made on time, GrandVillen reserves the right to make a reservation for the villa to another party.
k. After payment is received, GrandVillen reserves the right to terminate the contract unilaterally within 1 (one) day. In such cases, the refund will be made to the customer’s account or credit card within 1 (one) day. Any unilateral cancellation by GrandVillen will be notified to the customer as soon as possible. If an equivalent villa/apartment is available in our portfolio for the same dates, it will be offered to the customer. If the customer does not approve and the situation is not due to "force majeure," the payment will be refunded. GrandVillen is not responsible for any losses resulting from cancellations made by GrandVillen. The customer acknowledges that GrandVillen is not responsible for any pre-booked plane, bus tickets, rented car, boat, transfer services, hotel or pension accommodation fees, or any permits obtained from private companies or government authorities.
l. In cases where the reserved villa/property cannot be certified under Law No. 7464 on the Short-Term Rental of Residential Properties for Tourism Purposes, if a certified villa/apartment with equivalent features is available in our portfolio for the same dates, it will be offered to the customer. If the customer does not accept this change, the reservation will be canceled by GrandVillen and the payment will be refunded.
Exceptional Circumstances
In cases entirely outside our control such as war, threat of war, social unrest, terrorist acts, natural disasters, health risks, epidemics/pandemics (e.g., Covid-19), or the death of a first-degree relative of the reservation holder, if the necessary documents are submitted to our company, the prepayment made for the reservation will be held as a credit for a new reservation and deducted from the total cost of the new reservation.
Note: The total amount of the new reservation may vary depending on the selected property or dates.
Damage Deposit
A damage deposit will be collected from the guest, varying according to the features of each villa/property. The deposit amount will be stated in the confirmation document sent to the tenant at the time of reservation. The deposit will be collected in cash on the villa/property check-in day and refunded in cash upon inspection before the guest’s departure, provided the villa/property and its furnishings are intact and undamaged.
If the guest wishes to leave earlier than the time stated in the contract or if the villa/property inspection cannot be carried out due to occupancy, the deposit will be transferred to a designated account. Any damages exceeding the deposit amount will be charged to the guest, and legal action will be taken if necessary.
